Nice-Hate

An attitude of enforced congeniality with someone you cannot stand which is very very subtly detectable by the other person, but not proveable.

1)There's the boss - quick, pretend she's not the manipulative control freak that you would fire if the roles were reversed. You must show her your Nice-Hate smile in order keep your job so you won't starve. She will no doubt Nice-Hate smile back at you.

2) Oh no my boyfriend wants me to go to a party and his ex-girlfriend will be there. I will have to go into Nice-Hate mode. "Oh hello dahling! Fancy seeing you here -how are you? Mwah mwah."

1) n. A really sweet ship. It can be used for sailing, but is much more likely to just be put on display.

2) v. To cancel or replace an episode of a program due to a near-immediate local or national tragedy. Said program will likely be infamous for excessive violence and/or sexual activity. Originates from the anime series "School Days", when the final episode was pulled from televisions across Japan after a girl murdered her parents with an axe. The broadcast was replaced with relaxing still images, including one of a ship on a river with the words "Nice Boat" superimposed over it.

1) Hey, Jimmy! That's a nice boat you got there. Can I sail in it?

2) Damn...I was looking forward to watching Higurashi today, but the networks Nice Boated the whole thing.

Nice Guy

A badge of martyrdom. Men who spend their most of their time whining about how women “just want to date jerks”. Oblivious to the fact that no one finds people who feel sorry for themselves attractive, much less people who blame others for their lack of success. Most self proclaimed “nice guys” are just as self-centered and misogynistic as the jerks they gripe about, they are just much more spineless. To stupid to figure why women don’t find them attractive, they conclude that in order to get laid they must treat a woman like shit.

They tend to befriend women with the expectation that women owe them something more than friendship, then get all pissed off when the women tells them she’s not interested. Often going after women who are already in relationships, they misrepresent their intentions and try to use emotional manipulation and the facade of friendship as an excuse to get closer to them and score with them.

The sort of man who will give my definition a thumbs down. :)

Nice Guy: Why don’t women date nice guys like me?
Honest Girl: Because, you have no self-esteem and you have to blame other’s for your problems.
