Many channels have been dug into other lakes which in turn they rename as "bays". Although Lake Minnetonka is by no means the largest lake in the state, it does have the most shoreline of any lake in the state. In turn lake shore livving comes at a premium, ( $500,000 to upwards of $50 million) and thus a generation of Tonka Trash has spawned.
