LARPing

LARP stands for Live Action Roleplay. Originally intended for use for Roleplaying games that are played outside with other people, pretending to be their characters.
Can be used as a metaphor for people pretending to be something they are not, especially online. Examples are Wehraboos, people obsessed with the Wehrmacht, or Crusade-memers.
