It was initially faux news but roger ailes decided to keep the mistake because he realized few rednecks, i mean Sarah Palin supporters, no I mean rednecks wouldn't know what faux meant and after they found out it was originally a french word most likely boycott the station and say it was "for commies" which is the noun they use for anything they disagree with.
