White Curious

(adj. or noun)
A mindset or impulse where someone briefly considers doing something wild, risky, or just plain questionable—usually something they know better than to try—but still entertains the idea because it's the kind of thing that (stereotypically) only white people seem to do.
Think: DIY submarines headed for the ocean floor, hiking solo into bear country, or joining a cult "for the experience."

I was white curious for a second and almost signed up for a silent retreat in the woods with no electricity or phone service.
