A pejorative term for a person who is skeptical of official explanations of world events; in particular the events of September 11, 2001.

It is a combination of the words 'truther' (spelled phonetically) and 'retard'.

Only trooftards believe those buildings were taken down by the government.

Troofie

To paralyze one with knowledge

To be in agreeance

You are at the bar and you slay your friend in a debate. You fake drop something in their drink and proclaim "you just got troofied bitch".

Can also be used in agreement. Your pastor states some really profound stuff. Instead of saying "praise lord, praise lord" you can simply raise a hand or two and state "troofie, troofie" as you feel the word.
