Angles and Dangles

A series of maneuvers which a submarine crew exercises to prove their readiness for sea. The intent is to verify proper stowage of all items. Shortly after deployment, once a submarine has reached deep water, this exercise is performed and the sub repeatedly dives and rises at increasingly steeper angles. If an item is improperly stowed it will shift (or dangle) and generate noise. Since silence is of utmost importance during a submarine's mission these maneuvers are often performed during inspections to show high ranking officers that the crew has the appropriate concern for the Ship's mission. On rare occasions these maneuvers are performed for spectators (or riders), and in this case they serve a dual purpose; still proving a ships readiness for sea, but also demonstrating the capabilities of these magnificent warships.
Pot and pans, in the ship's galley, could be heard clanking by sonar during angles and dangles, indicating that the cooks were not properly prepared for a silent mission.

dinglestone

1)A small pebble one acquires on the road along the coast of Dingle, Ireland. The descendants of this region are partial to placing them on the mantle as a nostalgic gesture.
2)The final phase of transformation of the dingleberry, the melding of Toilet paper and fecal matter which ensares itself in orbit around the sphinctoid.
1)My Uncle Seamus mistakenly placed his own dingleberries on the mantel alongside his snott balls and toe jam until they hardened to dinglestones. He had never been to Ireland so had never seen that the stones in Dingle were more of a greyish tone than his brown progeny.
2)She had produced a sharp dinglestone which caused a stabbing pain on her inner ass cheek., but others complimented on her sexy new style of walk. She was torn about removing the little fella, whom she had affectionately dubbed O'Heinehy.

Quandale Dingle

A Quandale Dingle is an advanced technique employed at the high school level of football in which a player of below average height but above average weight for a given position is given the football usually as part of a larger trick play. It is often employed in desperate game situations where the chances of winning are slim. The move was named after one of the greatest high school offensive guards of all time, Quandale Dingle, but its use in game scenarios is highly controversial as its overall effectiveness depends almost entirely on the motivation of the player with the ball. It has also lead to some high-profile career ending injuries, which is why its use has not been adopted at the college or NFL levels.
Football Player 1: (Looks to the sidelines) Oh no.
Football Player 2: What's wrong? What's the play call?
Football Player 1: Coach is calling for a Quandale Dingle.
Football Player 2: God be with us.
