Voted Most Random

Voted Most Random is a band that came together on the University of Quinnapiac's campus in Hamden, CT and NOT in Waterbury, CT. They have a similar sound to bands like All Time Low and Blink-182 who were inspirations to them and they did not at al what so ever rip those bands off. The band consists of 5 AMAZING members. The members are: singer Ian, guitarist Scott, rhythm guitarist Bennett, bassist Joe, and drummer Sal who are all very different from one another. This band has won 2 battles of the bands to play with numerous other awesome bands at Warped 2010 and the more recent Glamour Kills holiday show. Voted Most Random recently released 2 singles onto iTunes called "Can't Stand Still" and "Dirty Games". Both are phenomenal so everyone should go check out the band!

nine-volter

A girl so fit that you'd go down on her first thing on a one-nighter regardless of her having a shower or not or how many piss-stops she's had during the night while out clubbing/on the lash. Derived from the same burning reaction you get from placing a nine volt battery on your tongue as what you get from going down on an unwashed beaver.

Look at her over there, is she a nine-volter or what?

(other possible uses are upping the voltage to say a 24volter if she's way up there, or likening her to a car battery)

voted off the island

"Voted off the island" is coined from the popular Survivor TV reality series. Used similarly to "throw under the bus" but it implies that more people (co-workers, your boss even) were involved in getting you off the team or fired. Basically, you are sacrificed so that the others can keep their own jobs. Sad truth is that "dog-eat-dog" survival exists in the office - especially in a bad economy - so keep your eyes and ears peeled for whisperers and frienenemies to minimize your chance of being voted off the island.

Mindy was voted off the island last week so now we're down to the original three managers in the department.

If Pete is not careful, he'll be voted off the island by the end of the month.
