Definition: A person in which works on a ambulance, responding to emergency medical situations.
Characteristics : Paramedics are made up of many different types of people! This is what makes them so great. They all have different views and beliefs yet still have a brother/sister hood because they all have a drive to help others. Many Paramedics can come across as blunt ,cold or a little too honest, however they have a protective, soft and caring manner to them as well. They appear strong as if nothing can shake them but understand these people are NOT superheroes! It is not uncommon for them to go home after a shift and cry for an hour about the patient they couldn’t help, the patient who’s was to far gone. Sometimes it happens at random times, like driving home from the grocery store. Although every one handles it differently! They wear there heart on there sleeve and want nothing but the best for there patients.
Some people call these fine individuals Angels but I’m not sure they fall under this category either! Paramedics have a tendency to have the darkest sense of humour and are always shocking people with there jokes. These people are the most badass bitches you will ever meet! If you think the Paramedic/Emts are crazy, you should see the people who marry them!
