Deeing

In using Blackberry Messenger, an annoying tactic used by many unconfident people. In order to make another person think that you have not read their message a person looks at the message without changing the D for delivered to R for read. It gives this person ample to time to think of a response without the other person knowing their message has already been read.

I don't understand why this bitch keeps taking 10 minutes to respond to all of my bbm's. It says the message has not been read yet but she's clearly just Deeing me.

A term coined by rapper Lil Uzi Vert. Deening is the act of a Muslim brother or sister being on their deen. In this context deen refers to the Islamic way of life.
