When a person stops in the middle of a hookup to tell the other person that he/she is into someone else, usually to let the person getting tanked (the tankie) know that the hookup is only casual and won't go anywhere

Boy: Hey, I'm really enjoying this makeout session and all but just so you know Catherine and I might be getting back together soon.

Girl: Did I just get tanked?
