When you see a couple that looks alike, or you prefer sexual partners who resemble you. after the German word, "doppelganger", a word for someone who could be your twin.

Person A: Hey, have you seen Kristin Stewart's new wife?

Person B: yeah, she looks like she could be her sister.

Person A: They are total doppelbangers. She must have got sick of masturbating to her own reflection.

Doppelbangers

A. A new name for the term "selfcest" which means shipping a character with another version of itself, such as from an AU or fanfiction. This name has been presented as a replacement due to selfcest ending with "cest" which reminded people of incest.

B. When two or more people that look extremely similar to each other are in a romantic/sexual relationship.

A. "My favorite ship trope is when they're doppelbangers."

B. "That new couple are totally some doppelbangers."
