Stag Beer is a lager beer originally brewed in Belleville, IL in 1851. It was bought out by George Heilman and moved to Milwaukee in 1989. It still enjoys a great deal of popularity in Central and Southern Illinois, St. Louis, and other parts of Missouri and Arkansas. The vintage appearance of the packaging (gold label/can with a deer's head) gives Stag Beer authenticity and somewhat ironic hipster credibility. It is also very inexpensive, and most people consider the quality much higher than the price tag would suggest. Due to its very low sugar level it is highly recommended as the beer of choice for diabetics. The low sugar levels also lead to the belief that Stag will not cause hangovers, even if you drink a very large amount. The beer has many rabid fans and therefore has developed some colorful nicknames and slogans, including:
"Stag - Steak, Taters, And Gravy"
"Sugar Free as Beer Should Be"
"Stag - It's not for Beginners"

Beer which one "discovers" having not known that it was there. Typically this occurs after a party or family gathering/event and may often involve a secondary fridge or forgotten cooler. Discovery of said beer is usually followed by feelings of joy and well being, similar to finding unexpected money in a jacket one has not worn in some time.
I'll just clean out the fridge, haven't done that in a while... wait a sec what's this? BONUS BEER! Righteous!

phenomenon in which one's consumption of alcohol makes physically unattractive persons appear beautiful; summed up by the phrase, "there are no ugly women at closing time"
When I took her to bed, she looked like Halle Berry. When I woke up, she looked like Keith Richards!

A reference of an empty beer can (or series of cans) that are temporarily stored upon the blades of a dormant ceiling fan. The cans were strategically placed there due to the overcrowding of empty cans upon a beer pong table. Excessive empty can storage upon a beer pong playing surface could potentially compromise the integrity of the game, thus leading to the need for an extra empty can placement area. An unused ceiling fan is a perfect collector of spent beer cans, due to its convenient proximity.
Fan Beer can also be used by its lesser known variation; a cold beer that is consumed on a hot summer day. A fan beer is a great way to cool down and relax.
The Fan Beer reference is commonly used across Michigan. It is believed the term was coined during a "Thirsty Thursday" drinking session.

Beers taken whilst on a long drive. used for 'refreshment'. in this case, refreshment means to bring on accelerated drunkenness.
NB: to count for a road beers long drive, you must be in the car for more than 60 seconds, or 1 minute.

Warren: shit yeah. i'll bring some road beers.
Dan: dude it's only like a 2 minute drive
Warren: yeah i know, so it qualifies as long enough. and i'll be drunk by the time we get back.
