Teefer

A word used during satirical impersonations of American right wing rednecks, referring to members of Antifa. Similarly to how "mosquito" can be shortened to "skeeter", pronouncing "Antifa" with a southern accent makes it sound like "antifer", which can be shortened to "teefer".

Can you believe some people think the bushfires in California were caused by Antifa arsonists and have nothing to do with climate change?

Yeah, it's crazy. "I bet them 'teefers are also like meltin' glaciers in Greenland and stuff, yup!". Haha

a "tweener", in Canadian Folk Festival (and other music festival) circles, is the person who entertains, on mainstage, during the set-ups, between the headlining acts.
