Similar to what the fuck! but can be used in a more positive manner.

Bill wins the grand prize of the lottery and shouts "HOLY FUCK!" as he completely didn't expect to win. He is filled with surprise and joy.

"holy fuckin shit" is the adult version of "OMG". When a person is in complete awe or disbelief of a sensory input, this term is commonly used. It is a modified version of the much used "holy shit", only intensified by the versatile word fuck. It is usually used in extreme cases of all kinds.

"Holy fuckin shit that pizza is hot!!"

A phrase for use when one witnesses a particularly horrific disaster. You might say "holy shit" after a car wreck. On the other hand, a plane crash would call for "Holy Buttfuck Batman!"

Batman: The Joker will get his just desserts, dear Robin, but we have more pressing concerns. Remove the Batplug and come closer...
