Election

Oh, oops, did I fuck that up for your team? Shit. My bad guys. I keep forgetting that I'm this genius, prerequisite-text writing, archetypal figure, and unrelenting psychic terror and that my words carry a lot of weight around here. Oops... Whoopsy...
Hym "Election? What? No... I couldn't possibly have anything to do with that. I'm being ignored! People don't do the things I tell them to do. So... It couldn't have been me!"

flat election

A real Election where nobody cares who wins because all of the possible candidates are just as depressing and uninteresting as the others. I.A. We don't care who wins...you all suck, i'd rather take a nap.
I didn't even bother to vote, it's a flat election. Wake me up when it's over.

Spicy Election

An all-encompassing term for political activism that stokes or is stoked by civil unrest. It often involves violence or destruction. It encompasses revolutionary actions such as protest, riots, rebellion, and escalations up to civil war. This is counter to the democratic process of election, in which the people of a nation peacefully decide the direction of its rule.
The Haitian Revolution had a number of spicy elections on the road to independence.

When someone or something wins the fourth term. Synonym of quadri-elected.
In the presidential elections of the United States of America, Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected in 1932, re-elected in 1936, tri-elected (re-re-elected) in 1940 and quadri-elected (re-re-re-elected) in 1944.

Election

A lot of people in this country went out and voted on election day. All that effort they put into what they did is (always) at risk of being turned into bullshit (despite claims about the whole thing being a democratic process), which is why some people don't vote, they have a good reason not to.
What's the point of an election if the people who hold power don't have any regard for what everybody else in the country wants to happen? That's a king, not a president. Why call it anything else? Why deceive people who went out and voted?

Post Traumatic Election Disorder

A new disorder whereby voters of the losing electoral party experience deep depression, grieving, mental anguish, anger, hysteria, disbelief, and in some extreme cases violence such as such as riots, protests, hate graffiti, and physical assault directed towards the winning political party and its members.
Many liberal Democrats experienced Post Traumatic Election Disorder when Donald Trump, a Republican, won the election for President of the United States.
