Reality Demarcation Problem

The philosophical and practical difficulty of cleanly separating "base reality" from the many conceptual, digital, or subjective layers we live within. It's the problem of pinpointing where the shared, objective physical world ends and where human constructions—like nations, economies, or social media reputations—begin. Since we experience everything through the filter of consciousness and culture, any line we draw is itself a constructed concept. Is a border wall "real"? The concrete is, but the political meaning enforcing it is a constructed layer on top. The problem shows that "reality" isn't a single tier, but a tangled hierarchy of things that have tangible consequences.
Example: "Arguing with a flat-earther, I hit the Reality Demarcation Problem. I cited satellite photos. He said they're CGI by a global cabal. I was appealing to a consensus reality built by science; he was appealing to a counter-reality built by conspiracy. There was no shared foundation to even start the debate. You though I was talking about YOU (Singlular/Localized/That Specific One) and are conflating the broad conceptual YOU (People in the abstract) or what I am saying applied to YOU in which case it would be (Peripheral/Incidental) YOU or I was speaking propositionally in which case what I'm saying relates to the person issuing the proposition but isn't necessarily directed at the person theme. Additionally, I am the I to whom I am referring when I write and, therefore, the intersubjective you would not apply to me.

Democracy of the Proletariat

A Marxist-Leninist concept where state power is wielded directly by the working class (the proletariat), typically through a revolutionary vanguard party, to suppress the former ruling class (the bourgeoisie) and transition society toward communism. This isn't "democracy" in the liberal, multi-party sense; it's a class dictatorship framed as democracy for the vast majority. It often manifests as a one-party state where the party claims to be the sole legitimate representative of the workers' will. Critics see it as the ideological fig leaf for totalitarianism, while proponents argue it's the only true democracy because it excludes the exploitative class from power.
Example: The early Soviet Union under Lenin was the classic attempt at a Democracy of the Proletariat. Workers' councils (soviets) existed, but ultimate authority rested with the Bolshevik Party, which claimed to act in the workers' name while systematically dismantling rival parties, independent unions, and dissent, arguing this was necessary to prevent a bourgeois counter-revolution.
