1. Any one inhabitant of a subjugated or marginalized minority relegated to a basement in respect to a bureaucracy and/or geographical location in an office environment.


Despite oppression from contact with the outside world and natural-environmental elements (i.e. sun, fresh air), basement dwellers often find unity amongst co-habitants and enjoy a jovial air. Over-exposure to environment may cause hallucinations, excesive use of jargon and inappropriate behavior, and a tendecy to create fantasies or religous cults.

Fantasy Basement

A Fantasy Basement is essentially a place where, once fucked up, your dreams will be realized. Spreading like wildfire across the world, fantasy basements are becoming known as THE places to be on a friday or saturday night by High Schoolers. Generally they are an unfinished basement in a house where the parents or guardians are lax about underage intoxication and or sexual behaviors. There is no limit to the number of people allowed in this haven at a time, however, generally speaking, the more the merrier. "The fantasy", as it is sometimes known, spawns memories that teens will never forget, ranging from absurd hookups to "bro-outs" on a thursday night. Needless to say this is one place that anything is possible.

Keyboard basher

Someone who beats their keyboard in frustration when they lose at a videogame, either due to poor teammates or the sad fact they just suck. Typically sticks to beige OEM keyboards as they're the cheaapest, and cycles keyboards every two months.

Keyboard bashers are a common sight at LAN parties.
