The pole axe was a weapon used in medeival England. It was literally an axe atop a long pole. Originally the term meant to be killed with such a weapon; it later came to mean being violently killed with any such weapon or instrument.

Get the digital-axemug. The act of young teen school boys, about 8 boys, dousing themselves in "Axe" body wash (usually after gym) and standing together in as stairwell to create a "Wall of Axe" as documented in several publications.
Now that the shower has taken care of the sweat from gym and I've sprayed on my Axe "cool metal" , I am heading to stairwell "A" to join the guys in a "wall of Axe".
