The act of putting an obviously non sick patient that reports to the emergency department in the waiting room for a long period of time.

Not to be confused with Photoluminescence.

Doctor: Nurse where is the guy with the hang nail?

Nurse: He is out for UV Therapy. Would you like me to bring him back?

2. Someone who your parents send you to become diagnosed or talked to because you have some mental probelm to hide the fact that your parents suck at parenting

Note - Therapist is two words: "The" and "Rapist"

alcohol therapy

Drinking to reduce momentary suffering. Cheaper than psychotherapy and, for a while, more fun.

We broke up a week ago, and i've been in extensive alcohol therapy ever since.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)

A combination of client-centered therapy, cognitive therapy, and sarcasm, designed by Albert Ellis. REBT acts to remove unreasonable cognitive beliefs, for example, musterbation. Its basic premise is that emotional suffering is due primarily to the often unverbalized assumptions and demands that people carry around with them as they negotiate their own way in life; for example, demanding perfection in oneself and/or in others.

REBT has been shown to reduce self-reports of anxiety in general and specific forms; reduce type A behavior patterns; reduce depression, anger, and, in children, antisocial behavior; and help emotionally healthy people cope better with everyday stress.

Janice's REBT therapist told her she was a control freak and that she was musterbating.

Theraputic Troping

The act of surfing TVtropes.org in order to recover from the impact of a particular work, be it fiction or nonfiction by understanding the tropes which make up the work. Most often used in conjunction with horror movies.

After watching The Orphanage, Sarah spent several hours indulging in theraputic troping in order to alleviate her fears.
