To vomit. Named after the expressionist painter whose works look rather like multi-coloured spew. Used in Red Dwarf by Kryten.

Pollock Pines

Pollock Pines is originally a general place name that describes the populated area just East of Placerville, then Camino CA (a town at the end of the railhead from Sacramento CA) and progressing eastward to the 13 Mile Post and then toward the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains going from Meyer's Grade, to Echo Summit, then down slope to Lake Tahoe and on to Reno (the next railhead East). Pollock pines encompases many different Stage Stops marked in milage between Placerville, CA and South Tahoe CA. These stops were also used as place names for the original East-West Pony Express route which is very closely mimicked by U.S. HWY 50

Stage Driver: Well, folks, it's time to depart Placerville (old Hangtown) and head up Rupley Grade to Camino for a quick horse change, appropriate libations and personal business, and then up to the ridge of Pollock Pines, where we'll have smooth travel and ample mail stops offering brief rest for all.

Pollen is a word wrongly used by pot smoking noobs for a medium grade of cannabis made using the Lebanese process.
The active ingredient in cannabis is THC which is only produced by the female plant where as 'Pollen' is produced by the male plant and contains no active cannabinoids.So smoking the pollen from a male plant does NOTHING. The correct word is pollum which is general name given to any hashish made using the Lebanese process.

pollen

The fine crystals that fall out of marijuanna when it is left in a container and shaken. You can buy crystal catchers which advertise mesh screens for catching crystals which can be turned into pollen by rubbing the crystals on the mesh screen. Pollen is usually collected in a catcher and pressed or sprinkled over a joint. It is smooth to smoke and has a more concentrated THC amount.

My grinder has four compartments, one of which is a pollen catcher.

pellon

Some secret product that only professional sewers use. It is sewn into many garments, but the general public is unaware of it's existance.

While at the fabric store, you will see many buy it, but no one will tell you it's use.

May be some secret substance holding the world together.

Comes in two forms. Regular and iron on.

Grandma to grandchild " Now honey, you go fetch grandma some of that pellon over there, never you mind what it is for. "

As I was going through the sewing box, the pellon was quickly ripped from my hand by my frantic mother.

At this time it is believed that only members of the secret sewing guild are known to hold the secret.

Wow, that pavement sure cracked up quick, they must not have put enough pellon in the mix.
