Dark Beauty

Dark Beauty; is dark storytelling, with perfect harmony between the subject and environment. It's graceful and elegant but deeper than surface and meaningful in mood. It's extreme but not forced. The Makeup and Hair and wardrobe are apart or even sometimes the set of the story. But it's all perfectly harmonized and tells the reader what darkness means in the editorial or photo series. One perfected shot freezing a frame of time for that one second and moment within the emotion of the story.

The darkness is within the movement or even sound of a story that touches you deeper than your consciousness and the dark beauty is the impact that hits your emotional consciousness.

Dark Fic

A fan fic that is particularly dark in atmosphere and has disturbing concepts. Is usually full of angst, torment, depression, violence, rage, abuse, insanity, sorrow, horror... Lots of negativity.

Dark fics are based off of series that have a brighter, happier mood, or just have too much humor in it.

It wouldn't really make sense to base a dark fic off of a dark series.

I read a really dark fic of Naruto where Naruto keeps getting tortured and Sakura is always getting raped.
