Love Like Winter

AFI's second single off their seventh full length album "DecemberUnderground." It features the band wandering through a snowy forest during a blizzard, and slowly being separated from one another. An unidentified woman reapears throughout the video, seemingly seducing Davey. She was defined by him as "the human embodyment of hopelessness," in the making of the video.

The actual preformance of the song is featured in the snowy forest.

Nearing the end, the woman removes her hood and Davey falls backwards, breaking the ice of some body of water that he had been standing on. He stuggles to get out, pounding on the ice, but with no avail. Then the woman appears to be in the water with him, and they sink out of sight together. Implied death by drowning, obviously.

Of you're wondering what he's "saying" as he's beneath the ice, some brief reseach will reveal to you the many fan theories that have formed.

Love Like Winter has a sad, dark, edge and can only be identifyed as yet another AFI video masterpiece (produced by Marc Webb).

The making of Love Like Winter premeried while we were all at school. How shitty is that?

Western veil

A pair of oversized sunglasses currently popular with young female celebrities and sluts alike. In contrast to the Eastern veil, a piece of fabric which masks the face form the nose down, the Western veil masks the face from the nose up and often makes pedolicious girls look older and hotter than they really are.....with huge fly-eyes.

Winter Blanket

A relationship which starts after the Labor Day holiday lasting at the absolute latest until the Memorial Day celebrations and shore house rentals begin (Although mentally the relationship will be over in March or whenever the beach house deadline date is). This relationship is often used to give an individual time to heal all wounds caused over the intense months 21-30 year old males deal with between the aforementioned holidays. These wounds typically include but are not limited to their physical bodies shape and unhealthiness, wallet, vacation day allotment, and brain. The girls can range dramatically but are preferably the lower maintenance “cute girl” you hooked up with during the summer – usually towards the end as there is less time for you to mess it up.

Guy 1: Wow what a crazy summer it’s almost good it’s come to an end.
Guy 2: Yea, I need to get my life back together. I was thinking about asking that girl from last weekend on a date.
Guy 1: She was cool, seems like a perfect winter blanket.
