The perfect response or comeback to any statement. This simple word can be used as a comeback or simply just to disagree with someone. Perfect for any situation and also to stop people in their tracts and to shut them up. It also can be used in place of false. I'm not saying i invented the word but I'm spreading it

Chris: That girl is pretty hot
Marco: Debatable!

Anonymous female: Hey I'm pregnant and its yours
Marco: DEBATABLE!

policy debate

Two-person team debate in which one team (the affirmative) generally proposes a policy which they advocate throughout the brave. The negative then argues against the affirmative case and plan on several levels - procedural, kritikal, and policy. Constructive speeches (2 per team) last 8 minutes and are punctuated by an additional 3-minute cross-examination period in which the opposing team asks questions to clarify and discredit the speaker's positions. Rebuttals (again, 2 per team) last 5 minutes and have no cross-examination period.

On the national circuit, and many other "champ" or "varsity" tournaments, delivery rate is extremely rapid, resulting in an atmosphere that emphasizes strategy and good argumentation over delivery and persuasion.

My parents used to get upset over the time I spent on policy debate - cutting cards, travelling to tournaments, and such.

jail debatable

Phrase used in discussion regarding any hot young teen, who appears to look as if past age of consent - but due to sexed up Lolita-like presentation and no tangible proof of birth - quite possibly might be jail bait.

Jim and Darren, both stumped regarding Hilary Duff's true age, but nonetheless turned on by the young starlet's god given talents, decided that she was quite jail debatable.

debt row

a place where used cars, trucks, boats, trailers, and other vehicles are parked for private sale--often to clear off debts. Usually a vacant lot or pull off in a high traffic or conspicuous place.

Now that the economy has tanked, there sure are a lot of trucks on debt row.
