A hypothetical nation where sovereignty rests with the people or their representatives, rather than with a monarch or emperor.
Also, the inhabitants do not let tyrants run their lives and take away their freedoms. In this Republic, they practiced true democracy.

The Republic doesn't exist in real life and it will never be another country like it.

Carpool Republican

A republican woman who marries a democrat with multiple children and supports schools, low taxes and minimal government intervention. Lunches on Capitol Hill and sometimes consults. Has very wealthy in-laws and friends in the NE.

Port Republic

a backwater suburb 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City. If you’re from here you know how the public school hired a pedo for a choir teacher, and the church defended him. That’s this town’s legacy. Other than that it’s full of parents forgetting to raise their kids, and gossip moms with nothing better to do than ignore their falling marriages. The delinquent kids drove the old hags of Port to complain about anything related to children having a childhood on a facebook page appropriately named Port Gang.
