Named for the original case TC Syndrome is a condition where a lacrosse player, usually a middie, finds himself unable to score in a season despite receiving quality opportunities. It is often associated with bad luck and the player adjusting to a mostly defensive role. TC Syndrome is "cured" when the player finally scores. The initial goal is always followed by another in the same game, which will go on to be a victory. The goals are often of some significance, being scored in a close game or the final game of the season
