To invite someone over to watch movies with the intention of hooking up with them.
Moonies are most likely held in a smaller more cramped room. It is unusual for the female party to know about the boys intentions.

Sam: 5 minutes of Step Up, then 2 hours of her

Moonberry

A common name for a fictional type of berry that is seen in many Dungeons and Dragons style universes. In most cases they are fairly unremarkable, sweet and edible, and not much different to most berries we have in the real world. Their unusual name usually instead serves to add a sense of mysticism and curiosity to the place they were grown. They are also commonly consumed in the form of juice and even sometimes wine.

Elven children love their moonberry juice.

Obsolete version of previously useful appliance, perhaps because it was replaced by a new model or just became irrelevant over time. Starts off being very popular, but pretty quickly becomes an embarrassment, is pushed into a corner or the back of a closet and never mentioned again. Tends to start whining uncontrollably regardless of which button you press.

Yeah son, that was called a Soda Stream/Stylophone/walkman, obviously these days it's just a moone.
