thootie

Derived from the term "thootie thursday" a thootie is an outfit worn once a week where both components of an outfit (i.e. sweatshirt and sweatpants) are matching in color. The basic thootie is gray on gray, however, "thootie" is a loose term which can be applied to a variety of different outfit combinations. For example, a dark blue shirt worn with dark blue jeans to school may still be considered a thootie even though it does not conform to the original thootie thursday of strictly sweatshirts and sweatpants as originated by the Princeton High School Winter Track Team.

Sarah: "Guess what tomorrow is?"

Emily: "Thursday???"

Sarah: "Wrong. It's thootie thursday!"

Emily: "Yess! I cannot wait to sport my pink sweatshirt and matching pink sweatpants!"

Stanley "Tookie" Williams

Stanley Tookie Williams along with Raymond Washington created what would later become known as the Crips. Tookie never imagined the Crips would become what they became. What had once been a group protecting their neighborhood, they spinned out of control and turned into the people they had come up to protect their home from. They never meant for the Crips to be this way.The Crips than lost Raymond Washington who was killed. Tookie had less control than he did before, hating what the Crips became. He was than arrested and put on death row. He kept his loyalty to the Crips, though he was unsure of if he could keep on going with the Crips. Then he found Redemption. Dedicating his life to trying to keep other kids from making the same mistakes he did. He wrote kids books promoting a gang free life and was nominated for noble peace prizes. He tried to end the Crips, he did change a lot of minds but was put to death in prison before he could do more. Was Tookie a bad person? No, I believe he is someone to greatly look up to, someone who had the stength to look at who he became and change into the better person he wanted to be. Thats more than most of us can do. Stanley Tookie Williams, Rest In Peace.

Tookie Williams was the man who created the crips which is one of the most notorious gangs in the united states. Tookie Williams was put onto death row for killing 4 people and there were more suspected killings. While on death row Tookie Williams wrote many books and even had his own web site which was used to help influence urban teens to quit or not join gangs. Williams did so much that he was even nominated for a nobel peace prize. Many people requested that Williams should be let go due to his good deeds but the governor of california would not allow it so Tookie Williams was put to death.

Tookie williams did a lot of stuff.
