Saverage

Adjective. Used to describe something that is savagely average. So mediocre it's almost painful.

"John thinks he's a brilliant football player, but really he's saverage."

"Hey, do you like this grossly overrated band?"
"No, they're saverage."

Subaverage

A position on the social pyramid that is made up of socially awkward kids below the ranks of average kids, but they aren't despised by the entire school.

My friend: He doesn't really talk much.
Me: I know, no one knows enough about him to like or hate him, he's one of those subaverage kids
