1. n (A play on "shamwow.") A state of affairs that describes something so impressive that one needs to take a dump to recover from being so impressed.

2. n - abridged version of the expression ' Holy Shit! Wow!'. Supposed to signify an exclamation point as when someone takes a dump only to find out that the tubular brown goo has taken the shape of Jesus Christ being crucified on the cross. (Yes even that peanut is where longinus pierced him with his spear). Holy took a dump, hence shitwow!

A: You'll never believe what happened at the MJ memorial. At the end, the casket burst open and MJ jumped up and performed the Thriller!
B: Shitwow!

When a human being or creature is in a state of nothingness. The individual has lost all train of thought and is completely useless. A victim of shutdown cannot think, has no motor skills, appearing to be much like a pilon. Shutdown is often caused after a day of vigorous activity, or simply from being lazy.
