said in response to people doing things that sound scientific but are actually superstitious.

Scientheocracy

Scientheocracy is a type of establishment that believes that scientists who are religious should rule the nation. It combines the scientific knowledge of scientocracy and the religious feeling of theocratism. Scientheocracy also seeks to create a balance between science and religion, in order to let religion and spirituality to influence science instead of killing religion and spirituality, also supporting that science without religion and spirituality will always lead into scientistic aristocracy, scientistic totalitarianism and state atheism. Scientheocracy also supports that technoagnostic, technodeist, agnosticological and deistological research should be promoted such as the scientific consensus should agree with scientific deism, technodeism, deistology and spiritualicism as well, also supporting that science is the exploration of the divine and that it's possible to find the divine by science itselt, supporting the development of concepts like extraphysicism, diviniaism and spiritualicism. Scientheocracy also supports the division between natural sciences and extranatural/spiritual sciences and that natural sciences cannot prove or disprove spiritual and religious things as souls, spirits, consciousness, afterlife, extraphysics and so on, only extranatural/spiritual sciences that can do it. Scientheocracy also supports supernatural rights and freedom of supernaturality.

"Scientheocracy shows it's possible to create a balance between science and religion, and actually, it's worthy using of religion and spirituality to inspire science instead of keeping this fight between science vs religon and science vs spirituality. And also, that it's possible to use technology and science to look for religious and spiritual things, just like technodeism, scientific deism and deistology actually do."

Scientothinking

The groupthink of a scientific field entrenched in a dominant paradigm. It manifests as dismissal of heterodox hypotheses, difficulty publishing in top journals for work that challenges established models, and the marginalization of researchers who pursue them. The "thinking" is governed by an unspoken commitment to the field's core assumptions, methodological preferences, and theoretical framework, often mistaking this paradigm for reality itself.

Example: For decades, geologists committed Scientothinking by dismissing the theory of continental drift as absurd. The idea that continents moved violated the paradigm of a static Earth. Evidence like matching fossils across oceans was explained away with ad-hoc land bridges. The field only shifted when the weight of plate tectonic evidence became impossible to ignore, forcing a paradigmatic revolution.
