poshukach

A type of malware taking the appearance of a search engine. It gets installed onto one's system via installing a seperate file and once done so, it will hijack the search engine of the victim, thus littering the entire screen with pop-ups, ads etc. It's not anything malicious, but it is very annoying. And its descriptions are in russian for some reason.

Bobby: Dan, can you come over here? I got something weird to show you.
Dan: What is it?
Bobby: I got this weird thing instead of Chrome.
Dan: Oh, it's the Poshukach malware. My buddy Joe caught it too once.
Bobby: Who's Joe?
Dan: bruh
