A. West: The newer part, it also has a higher per capita income(on the order of $100,000-$120,000). Its schools are still a hotbed of drug activity due to the high preponderance of bored, rich kids, but heroin has fallen out of favor.
B. East: Considered by most Plano-ites, to be the "ghetto" section of Plano, the vast majority is still upper-middle class. It however lacks the number of shopping malls/ multiplexes/ etc. that have arose in the west side during the building boom that hit the DFW area in the 90's.

I live in Plano, and go to school at Plano West. A lot of people from East Plano and outside of Plano say cruel things to me or about me because of where I live; but their stereotypes are based off of people under the age of 18- I believe that wherever you go in America teenagers will be immature, inconsiderate, and/or rude, and that people who judge a city off of it's children are immature, too.

Get the Planomug. A city close to Dallas. Unfortunately the stereotypes are pretty true. West was the richer side of town; rich kids all fucked off on some shit living in nice ass houses. Everyone was on prescription drugs. The vibe I felt from west plano people: super sexually weird, sort of reminded me of serial killers. There was a nigga that liked to drug girls at parties and rape them. I knew a girl , who fell victim to the therapy of prescription drugs and believed that since she didn’t have her adderrall, it was ok to do meth. East Plano- full of wanna be drug dealers and kids who liked to party. middle class, some upper. Sadly two of the guys I knew couldn’t see life any other way. One of them was a smart guy but he kept using drugs and couldn’t stay out of jail. He’s out now, dating a stripper on acid. The other is a runaway meth dealer who went from motel livin n pimpin to rottin and hidin away in storage units in the dallas area (he thought it was cool to get the Plano emblem tattooed on his face if that tells you anything). Then of course I do know people that actually grew the fuck up and stayed away from the “im bored and wanna live a drug fueled life that will do me no good”.
And I guess similar stories happen all around the world but this was my personal experience with Plano, Tx.

Get the Planomug. A little-known city in Texas that is close to Dallas. It is the 9th-largest city in Texas and the 70th-largest in the United States. It is unique in that it is home to the headquarters of many major corporations including JCPenney, Frito-Lay, Cinemark, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Rent-A-Center, and Pizza Hut.

East: The Ghetto side of Plano. West stereotypes them as gang bangers who smoke drugs in front of the police who does no shit about it. Not so true. They might live in the ghetto but it doesn't mean that that happens since many people have graduated and gone to college becoming doctors and shit.
West: The modern side of Plano. East stereotypes them as snobby rich asswholes that smoke shit in the bathrooms and have mansions with 15 BMW's and ferraris in their houses. Even though the Willow Bend has mansions and Shepton and Plano West Senior High School are right in front of it. Doesn't mean its like that. There are many lower class people in plano, not because the go to Shepton, Jasper, and Plano West, means that they are automatically rich. I speak from experience.
Central: Central Plano is where Plano Senior is at. (Btw good job at woopin our ass yesterday at the football game... 19-0...) (11/1/2012) They are like the only normal people in plano. With mixture of East and West in it. Plano Senior is just stuck in between the shitty ass fights with Plano West and Plano East.

Get the Plano Mommug. All right, in response to all 3 previous "definitions," I'd like to say... well... they're 50% right, and mostly stereotypical. False assumptions, mainly. I know plenty of kids who went to Plano West who were considered "cool" without driving an expensive car, who were smart and earned their GPA's legitimately, and who weren't coke whores. Nevertheless, there were a good amount of students who fell under all three of those categories. It's unfair to those who went to Plano West, and remained down to earth, to be categorized as a Plano West "rich bitch." Touching off of that, regardless of the fact that their parents are well off, many of the kids who attend Plano West aren't stuck up whatsoever. People who drive nice cars, have nice clothes, and own nice things should never be considered stuck up... if anyone is able to buy nice things, that person is going to do so... and that says absolutely nothing about their character or personality. Just thought I would clear up the confusion, since the first two definitions were obviously written by people who do not/did not attend the school. If they did, they would know that they were wrong.
