Maskie

A maskie is someone who is strongly in favour of masks and face coverings. The term emerged during the coronavirus crisis of 2020. While well intentioned, maskies fail to consider the dispiriting effects of compulsory masks, the disproportionate impact on the disabled, and the relatively small effect of masks compared to measures like physical distancing. Their natural enemy is the anti-vaxxer.

We don't! That's a violation of individual freedom of expression!

The Art of Masking

When properly handling or wearing a face mask is far from obvious, because a disturbing number of mask wearers are quasi-clueless how to properly protect themselves against the coronaviruses and their variants.

Like common sense that isn’t common after all, the general population needs to be continually exposed to the art of masking through health awareness campaigns to avoid preventable corona infections or deaths.
