Lareina

A mature, hard-working and extremely ambitious girl who tries her hardest to meet her own goals. Sometimes, she bites off more than she can chew and puts herself in extremely stressful situations, causing her to shut out the outside world and break down without anybody to lean on or support her. She doesn't like to share her true feelings, and usually keeps everything to herself, but with a good relationship, she can make both her life and the lives of others around her much more enjoyable and successful. She is an inspiration to hard working and ambitious individuals, and given the time, she can accomplish anything she wants, independently.

Lareina works too hard. She should take a break sometimes.
Does Lareina ever stop working?

Castle Learning

An online testing program designed by sadists to make students cry and used by teachers who are too lazy to write their own tests. Each question is presented with four choices to chose from and upon confirming your answer, the system with freeze for a random amount of time, in hopes of increasing your heart rate higher than it already is, before telling you that you are wrong.

Student: Did you see there was a Castle Learning due last night at 11:59 pm?
Friend: Yeah, I got a 79%. Most of the stuff we never learned and Yahoo Answers didn't always have the question.
Student: Well, I didn't do it at all.

Larping

When someone is pretending to be something they’re not. Can involve lying on social media/internet or lying in real life. Often used in a derogatory sense.

Derived from the original meaning of LARP, Live Action Role Play. When you say that someone is larping and you’re not talking about the literal game, you are saying that they are role-playing in their actual real life. Pretending to be rich, pretending to know about a topic, pretending to have a certain lifestyle, etc.

Amanda: Wow did you see Josh’s new lamborghini on IG?
Max: That’s not actually his, he took a photo of a random lambo at the dealership. He’s just larping like he has one.

E-Learning

School work on a computer where the teachers give you 4x as much work as a normal school day. This can be on a snow day or a Coronavirus quarantine day. E-learning days usually result in mental breakdowns and failing grades.

During March 2020, our school had to be shut down to prevent the Covid-19 virus from spreading, so while we weren’t at school we had to E-Learning on our school laptops.

Learning Disability

A learning disability is a reduced intellectual ability and difficulty with everyday activities e.g. household tasks, socialising or managing money, which will affect someone for their whole life. People with a learning disability tend to take longer to learn and may need support to develop new skills, understand complicated information and interact with other people.

Learning disability is often confused with dyslexia and mental health problems. Mencap* describes dyslexia as a “learning difficulty” because, unlike learning disability, it does not affect intellect.
*The Royal Mencap Society is a charity based in the UK that works with people with a learning disability, founded in 1946 by Judy Fryd.
