Someone, usually girls, who wears/owns trendy things. For example:

-Uggs (sheepskin boots)
-Lance Armstrong bracelets
-furry-hooded winter coats
-huge sunglasses
-cell phone
-those thin fishnet-plastic sandal things
-pompadours
-Invicta backpacks
-brands such as Parasuco, American Eagle, etc.
-iPod (newer than 20 gig)
-Converse Chuck sneakers
-tight jeans (on guys)
-being tall and skinny (guys) (obviously this can't be helped)
-Drew Carey glasses (thick- and dark-rimmed glasses)
-Hair, usually black, that is approx. down to the nose, and pulled down to one side on an angle, partly covering the forehead
-big fat skater shoes
-Enyce clothing
-bandannas
-baseball caps pointed semi-forward and pointing semi-up

Unfortunately, preppy-trendwhore girls are often quite attractive, so calling her a trendwhore may not be 100% bad.

I must point out that I didn't notice this stuff until I moved to Toronto, so this list may not in fact be a list of trendy things, as much as it's a list of what girls (and guys) simply wear in Toronto, or at my high-fashion university.

Also, it's possible that I've offended everyone with this definition; even I have some of the things on that list.

They don't necessarily wear all of these things at once, but certain people will wear several at once...for example, a preppy trendwhore might wear huge sunglasses, a Lance Armstrong bracelet, a pompadour, Uggs in the winter, and carry a cell phone, whereas an emo-ska-punk kid might wear Chucks, tight jeans, thick-rimmed glasses and have hair angled to one side of the forehead.

yesterday i saw a 10 year old kid wearing 13 bracelets all in different colors all having the slogan of some disease or company. There is no way the hospital would let him walk around like that if he really had all those diseases.

trendwhore

A style of digital graphic art, prevalent in the late 1990s and early 2000s, utilizing either clean vector shapes or distressed versions of the same, often lacking clear content, and using a mishmash of cliched design elements, such as arrows, crosses/plusses, CMYK color calibration bars as graphic elements, and extremely thin Helvetica (or, for the cheap, Arial) typefaces.

Do I need an example? I think I explained it pretty thouroughly.

trendcore

A style of music that emphasizes fashion and fitting in with the hardcore music scene. Critics claim that when people start listing different styles like metalcore, grindcore, etc., you know they are trendcore people. Trendcore bands play the same guitar riffs usually droning the lowest string, adding tapping and other similar techniques that focus on physicality rather than originality. Trendcore disregards creativity and this is evident with all of the instruments in a trendcore band. The drummers focus on playing the double bass rather than creating original drum beats. The vocalists in trendcore bands need not to be very skilled because they usually scream and when they do sing they emulate the so called "Saosin" vocal sound. Trendcore bands have no issue with being unoriginal and this is evident through the repeated use of "breakdowns" in their music. Christian based trendcore music is considered the trendiest of all and these bands view music solely as a way to get their message to people and disregard the art of creating original music. Trendore music is viewed by many critics as comparable to the 80's "hair-bands". Many people have stated that trendcore kids look as though they wear uniforms with their skinny jeans, v-neck shirts, and "hair-band" haircuts.

a girl, usually a bitch to other girls, who follows major trends (examples: designer purses, ugg boots, lululemon, puffy jackets, layered clothing, etc) and is usually covered in an inch of makeup. trend whores are often unnaturally skinny and have unusual amounts of testosterone.
