Adjective

Originating as a common misspelling of 'sound', to refer to something as 'snoud' is to express one's agreement or condoning of a particular activity or proposition in much the same manner as 'sound' has come to mean in modern slang.

Takes on similar meanings to 'awesome', 'epic', 'sound', 'safe' and 'noice'.

SNIFU

SNIFU (rhymes with snafu) is used as an apologetic message when you accidentally send a text message to the wrong recipient or text group. It's an easy way of saying "Sorry, Not Intended For You"

Wendy was always sending text messages to the wrong person. She would start typing her message and hit send before she realized that she was in the wrong window. Then she would have to type "SNIFU" to let the recipient of the wayward text know that the message was "Sorry, Not Intended for You"

snafucated

A programming term used as a joke. Originally seen in the article "How to Write Unmaintainable Code", snafucated is a method name used to confuse maintenance programmers working on the code after it has been written.
Admitting to not knowing the definition among programmers will result in widespread sniggering.

On a method called makeSnafucated insert only the comment /* make snafucated */.
Never define what snafucated means anywhere. Only a fool does not already know, with complete certainty, what snafucated means.

Snooful

A Reddit chat bot with a white Snoo on a bright green background for a profile picture. Imitated other bots like navsnoobot, which worked more consistently and had many more features for the most part.

It didn't have Urban Dictionary for a long time, join/leave/ban messages were wonky, the mod list wouldn't load and it worked about as well in any new chats as an icicle in a furnace. Besides many other things.

After a few 3-day bans, it was permanently banned from the site and the Subreddit has almost no activity. The 'Who killed Snooful?' mystery still hasn't been solved to this day...

Snooful was a mediocre chat bot. May our memory of it be equally mediocre. Rest somewhere far away for all eternity.
