Sixteen

The survival show JYP used to create the girl group "TWICE". It got launched in 2014 and consisted of 16 girls showing their talent to debut. After the show ended, some ended up debuting in TWICE, and some debuted as soloists or in other girl groups.

Sixteen Candles 

A classic 1980's John Hughes flick that chronicles the story of Samantha, a sixteen year old whose family has forgotten her birthday. Jake Ryan, the "perfect" guy in school, saves the day- saving Samantha from her sister's awful wedding, and buying her a birthday cake. This movie is famous for it's archetype characters- 'The geek'- Called either Farmer Ted, or the Geek, and played by Anthony Michael Hall, 'the perfect man'- Jake Ryan, played by actor/model Michael Schoeffling, and 'the awkward high school girl', played by Molly Ringwald. The character of Jake Ryan has grown extrememly popular over the years as an example of a perfect man- smart, rich, courteous, sweet, considerate- and one who breaks up with the curvy, beautiful head cheerleader for the gawky, awkward younger girl.

Girl- "I just saw Sixteen Candles today."
Friend- "And?"
Girl- "I want my own Jake Ryan."

sixteen horses in a bucket 

A phrase that doesn't mean anything in particular.

Used by Tobuscus during some of his Lazy Vlogs when he is walking through a busy place in public and doesn't want people to know he is vlogging. Because he vlogs with his iPhone, he just puts it to his ear and pretends he is talking to his mom on the phone and uses the phrase.

In a similar way, while he was in college, he used the phrase Probably Monday.

"There are a lot of people here, shh, shhh... (Puts his phone to his ear) Hey mom? Yeah? How many? Sixteen! Sixteen horses in a bucket? Alright... alright, I got it! I got it, sixteen---in one bucket, okay."

its a play on words from the movie "sixteen candles." when an unattractive girl tries to get the a guy that is not on her level, 3-4 levels above hers.

A woman that dresses in trendy clothes and usually has long hair and trendy shoes. You take a glance at her from behind and she looks about sixteen,but as she turns around and you see her face, you realize she's hideous and wrinkled and more like ninety.

a john hughes movie, based in the town every other movie by him was, sherman illinois, as made fun of in dogma. the movie sucked but that long duck dong guy was hilarious.
