Word comes from old Russian; theories of its origins varies from a name of a river that was the site of a pestilence to the word voloch (drag), referring to servants of the upper classes who gathered gossip for their masters.

Bad word used by Venezuelans, like a synonym for nothing like “¡No hice un sevillo!” (I did nothing) and when you're mad with someone, you act like you are going to throw them to the fifth "sevillo" “Le metió 3 patadas y lo mandó pa'l quinto sevillo” (He kicked him 3 times and threw him to the fifth "sevillo") also, Venezuelans use the fifth "coño" too. Some people use "tri-sevilluo" is like an insult but 3 times angrier.
