To draw attention to something. Often used in terms of a person blaming something else. Fairly self-explanatory.

There has been a lot of finger pointing, but no one has yet found the one true cause of cancer.

King of Wishful Pinking

A term given to the guy you see who is always talking to girls when he is out, but none of them are sincere in their interest of sleeping with him. He can commonly be found in the friend zone buying drinks for the women around him.

Friend 1: Geez man, there goes Sean again talking to Tina. He needs to just give it up.

Friend 2: First it was Katie, then Jen, and now Tina? Sean is the King of Wishful Pinking.

Also "Plinking about" Non-serious, fun shooting at targets, often tin cans.

Most commonly with air pistols/rifles and other low-power weapons.

"I use my Webbley pistol for plinking about in my yard"
"Spitfire pellets are good plinkers"

Pinkie promise

The most sacred promise anyone can give. When broken, you lose your friend forever. The pinkie promise is done by uttering a chant and doing the motions

AJ: you bettar not tell Twi that ah lost her book. Y'all know what happened last time thayt happened.

RD: Pinkie promise. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.

RD crosses a hoof over her heart, opened her wings and gave a flap, and put a hoof to her eye.

AJ: thanks, Dash. Ah really don't know what ah'd do without y'all.

RD: no problem, pal.

*later*

RD listened to Twi talk about her new book she lent to AJ. She bit her lip, and opened her mouth to confess. Suddenly, Pinkie sprung out of a potted plant

Pinkie: you'll lose them. Foreeeeeevveeeerrrrr
She slowly disappeared into the plant.

Pinkie Pie Swear

Pinkie Pie swear/promise used in the episode "Green Isn't Your Color" of MLP:FiM. It goes like this: Cross my heart (cross your heart) and hope to fly (mimic the act of flapping wings by moving wrists) stick a cupcake in my eye (pretend to smash said pastry into your eyeball). Said by both Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle: Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my--AAH! (Pinkie Pie Swear fail)
