John Saunders went way too hard for way too long but hasnt touched drugs in 10 years. Even after such a long period of sobriety he shows signs of serious brain damage and as such is permafried

Permifried

Term used in Southern California rave culture to explain the phenomenon of the "unending acid trip". People who are permifried usually continue to experience the mind-altering effects of LSD long after the drug exited the body. These phenomenon can include a permanent psychosis, elevated level of consciousness or "understanding", "ego death", and or visual hallucinations such as seeing "trails".

As of now, there is no cure for this disorder, although many of these individuals continue to use LSD in a desperate attempt to gain new insight capable of returning him/her to the desired mindset.

I dropped a lot of acid in 07, done left me permifried.
