Laverda (motorcycle) refers to a brand of motorcycles produced from 1949 to 2004. The factory was first located in Breganze Italy but after bankruptcy in the late 1990's, production moved to a factory up the road in the town of Zane.
Fans of the earlier models consider the zane-produced bikes to be inferior, in part due to their engines having a reputation for crank issues.
