Used in Louisiana. My theory is that this was someone's adaptation of the Spanish usage of the word "si" for both yes and if (there is some Spanish influence in Louisiana).

If means a possibility. You use it to compare something kinda. Like if you said this sentence cause ya know. It said if. That is how you'd use it. Plus you really stupid if you don't know what if means cause I say it a lot
