Gaslighting is a systematic pattern of abuse by which the abuser manipulates factual information to give the victim the impression that they cannot trust their own senses. It should not be confused with discounting or minimizing, two very different forms of verbal abuse that are far more common.

Glifting

When acting as a bench press spotter for a male partner, Glifting involves dangling ones testicles into the mouth of the lifter on the press. Similar to 'teabagging' but specific to male bodybuilders - derivation is believed to come from a combination of 'Gay' and 'Lifting'.

Gaslighting

Over a long period of time a person makes someone question who they are and if they are worth it. A person often questions themselves if they are the reason the person it like this. Form of abuse. Manipulating a person to think they are worthless, crazy, insane, mad and always in the wrong.

"Bob is always being manipulated by him."
"This has been going on for Years, and he always asks if he's the reason why they're in this mess"
"Yeah, I told you and Bob, its gaslighting."
