Facebook fail

1. Acting like a complete douchebag in a way only possible on Facebook. This might involve relatively innocuous things like Facebook stalking or being a Facebook whore, or it might be a little more obnoxious, like telling Friend A that you can't go out on Saturday night and then posting tons of pictures from Friend B's party the next morning.

2. The innate quality of Facebook that inspires this sort of behavior.

"Why does his ex-girlfriend keep writing cute little posts on his wall? Do you think they've still got something going on?"

"Honey, don't worry about it. It's just Facebook fail."

When at a festival and somebody does a shout in an attempt to get a reply from a stranger. If there is no return shout, this is a Fail Scratcher.

Optimistic Stranger: "BUTT SCRATCHER!!!"

Other festival goer: "What a Fail Scratcher."

Alpha Fail

A person who, whilst thinking they are the Alpha Male of the group, often strutting around, being brash and cocky, is actually a complete fucktard, will end up fucking his hand most nights, and is a general douche.

Can also be used when a "fail" is so epic that it's just irretrievable.

Guy 1: "Look at Mike, he thinks he's such a player, he thinks those girls are lapping him up but they're laughing at him behind his back"

Guy 2: "Yeah he's such an Alpha Fail"

To repeatedly get fired but consistently find a new job that are better than the one you just lost.
