Opposing Force

Often defined as the best Half-Life 1 expansion. It involves you playing as the "opposing force", more commonly known as the HECU, as a soldier named Adrian Shephard. The expansion adds several new weapons as well as new enemies alongside the ability to lead squads of soldiers. The expansion has a few events that crossover with the original Half-Life, however for the most part Gordon isn't seen. After the game, Adrian is placed into stasis by the G-Man, who forgets where he put Adrian and as such Valve will not make another game with Adrian Shephard.

Half-Life Opposing Force, a great expansion but a shame that it's titular character was forgotten forever.

The Unique Opportunity is delivered in such a way as to motivate the individual to see past the cruel and loathsome task ahead.

In most situations, the 'Unique Opportunity' is given by a delegator otherwise known as 'Master'.

The 'Master' is known for his/her dark craft-like ability in deflecting an undesired task to an unforuntate individual in the form of a Unique Opportunity.

Master: Hey David, I have a Unique Opportunity for you! I need you to go downstairs into the cellar and clear up all the rat shit, your efforts will be very much appreciated.

David: (sigh) ok.

youth opportunities

A place where a homeless youth can get bottled water and given another chance only to be kicked back onto the street. Workers are nice as long as you follow their rules and don't think for yourself. Kids hookup and get pregnant then smoke dab carts in the bathroom with the door open and their only asked if their homework is done. They also don't care if you have a home aslong as you read an outdated textbook. They do help people, but only if you let them control every aspect in your decision making and forget friends,and hanging out with friends means you have "a place to live"
