Something that is considered "new" to the purchaser of the article, primarily used to define a pre-owned/used car.

That Mercedes isn't new, it's a newfa.

In other words, the person has a 2002 Mercedes that they purchased in 2006. It is the current body style, but it's got more than test driven mileage on it.

It's new...fa' him or her.
