Faustine

Faustine is a term for a terrifying mythical creature. The name originally derives from the aix'traordinarian language but has been adapted to common use to describe small french menaces. It is advisable to run should you ever see a Faustine.

Kids who think they are cool and alternative when they are really not, and are just crap at life. These kids tend to sit around having "jam" sessions on their guitars, believe in socialism (when they really have no idea wtf it is), wear black nailpolish and have dreads, but on the inside are little mummy's boys who ain't hardcore. They also probably wear coloured underwear.

fauxtention

"faux" + "attention": pretending to pay attention in class; an offensive tactic during lecture classes when you are using your laptop. Fauxtention involves giving knowing and "interested" nods to your professor to show you're paying attention. But what you're really doing is preempting any suspicion that you are surfing the internet as much as you really are.

Fauxtention earns brownie points.

Positive to a fault

(adj.) To be overly optimistic to the point where one cannot be bothered to sort out the problems, leading to failure through neglect.

She thinks she's a good driver, but she's positive to a fault. She drives while putting on her lipstick. She's about to crash.....
