cliffed it

when somebody makes a cracker of a joke, creating a glory moment similar to the epic feeling of stopping a motorbike on the edge of a cliff, then 'falls off' in the process of making another, this time lame, joke, as they go for too much glory.

Person #1: "You're so gay you make a circle look straight"

Crowd: "HA HA HA"

Person #1 (Feeling cocky): you're so gay you make a gay man look straight

Crowd: ...

Person #1's friend: "Mate, you just cliffed it"

Clifton Hill

Located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. It is also where the city gets most of it's money from. Overpriced attractions (such as the Skywheel) and restaurants are scattered throughout the area to keep tourists entertained. In the summer, it is normally swarmed by tourists and drunken local teenagers. It is also a hang out for emo kids and punks (if you look hard enough). Exercise extreme caution on Friday nights in the summer just after 10pm when everyone emerges from the falls after the fireworks display. Also, beware of tourists running into the street. It is a hell hole to drive there in the summer. In the winter, it is pretty much dead. Actually, all of Niagara Falls dies in the winter, minus the people working the attractions.

No, we are NOT driving down Clifton Hill...it's almost 10:10!

Cliffe hanger

When in the act of making al-fresco doggy-style love near the top a cliff, taking one's partner closer to the edge so they push back out of fear, thus intensifying the pleasure. The extra "e" represents the Cliffe area of Holmfirth, a spot favoured by those of an oudoor baby-making persuasion, usually under the guise of walking the dog.

I went out walking t'whippet last night and treated me lass to a Cliffe hanger while I were there.

cliffhucker

Typically a skier, snowboarder, kayaker, or mountain biker who looks for steeps, drops, and ridges from which to jump. Cliffhuckers tend to be total adrenaline junkies who are always looking for that next ‘rush’. Some cliffhuckers have even died taking on drops that are simply too large or awkward to land.

Man, did you see that cliffhucker flip off that ridge up there? He totally bit it!
