Hashdag

A person who uses hashtags excessively in their status updates on social networking sites apart from Twitter, and perceives themselves as being cool by doing so.

hashtagslag

A male or female user of social media, mainly Twitter, who uses hashtag in an inappropriate way. One or more of the following characteristics will need to be present:-

1. Using 5 or more hashtags in one tweet;

2. Hashtagging something that is so long or random, there is no chance of it ever trending (eg. #havingamediterraneanpastabakewiththemanofmydreams);

3. Using "#nofilter", even when they have put an effect on or edited the photo;

4. Tweeting with hashtags at least 3 times an hour about:-

a) usual tasks or household chores; and/or

b) their pets (eg. My chihuahua just did a whoopsie behind the sofa #smellydog #ilovemyrat)

5. Saying the word "hashtag" before phrases in face to face conversations.

The more of these characteristics that are present, then the more hashtagslaggy, the hashtagslag is.

Tarquin: Have you seen Seb's girlfriends latest tweet?

Frances: No, what has that hashtagslag been hashtagging now?

Tarquin: She obvs. out with Seb. She's said:-

"Out with Seb for a meal, his treat #nandos #piripiri #canwaittostuffmyfacewithmachospeas #feelingblessed #sohappy #lovemyman"

Frances: Man, she is such a major league hashtagslag!

Someone who is so addicted to twatter, they use hashtags outside of it.
These include;
Tumblr.
Youtube.
Facebook.

Hashfagger: Hey guys, going to moves l8ter with my homieszzzz #swagggg

Normal guy: Wow, nice job hashfag. Fucking asshole.

Hashtagulary

A vocabulary largely consisting of the language of hashtags (denoted by the symbol: #).

Dude I totally just hashtag dropped a deuce. It was hashtag massive. I had a hashtag awesome day. Hashtag hashtagulary gets hashtag annoying but its a hashtag addiction.

Hashtard

a. used to describe a person who has forgotten that they are posting on Facebook rather than Twitter and have used hash-tags in their post.

b. a person who intentionally uses hash tags in their posts on Facebook in an attempt to look cool or clever.

Hashtaggot

One who makes a fool of themselves by going and using the symbol "#" in front of a jumbled mess of words to make it a sentence, or uses the actual word "Hashtag" on a social network that is not twitter.
